La Romana

La Romana is a municipality and capital of the southeastern province of La Romana, opposite Catalina Island. It is one of the 10 largest cities in the Dominican Republic. Modern La Romana International Airport has been serving in this city since 2000. La Romana has a rapidly growing tourist industry, with golf resorts/hotels located in the Dominicus and Casa de Campo areas.
