North & South Tour

We are heading towards the Pamplemousses region. Our first stop is the Sir Seewoosagur Botanic Gardens, the oldest botanical garden in the southern hemisphere. While walking, you can see fantastic plant species such as Victoria Amazon water lilies, 80 different palm tree species, local spices, and medicinal plants, as well as trees planted by world leaders and the royal family.

After that, we will be immersed in the local community at the Le Caudan Waterfront area and explore the local market that offers great souvenirs.

Next, we will head to the south of the island. We will travel along a road with magnificent views of steep slopes and lush green areas, and visit the Chamarel Rum Factory located in the Chamarel village surrounded by vast sugarcane fields. We will witness the sugarcane's transformation into rum and then have a rum tasting opportunity.

Our last destination to explore today is the Seven Coloured Earth, a sand dune where seven colors are naturally blended. This volcanic formation is also known as the Seven Coloured World and is recognized for its red, brown, green, blue, yellow, pink, and purple colors. This enchanting place has a unique beauty that no climate condition can alter.
